Mecca is famous for Bingo but not so famous for food. The food and beverage offering has previously been the secondary priority for the business but so many of their customers stay to eat. Mecca asked us to help them create a trial menu for a younger demographic with new dishes and brand new design to see if a more focused and modern food offering can increase SPH and drive new customers.

Two weeks from releasing the new menu, Mecca saw more regular customers eating on site and increase in spend per head leading to overall sales growth. Food and drink pairings also helped boost revenue as an increase in premium drinks worth £1 more than standard pints were bought more often.
